NO HOURLY BILLING

Since graduating from Duke Law almost ten years ago, I usually billed clients by the hour. Even as a young attorney, I was charging about $200 per hour. Obviously, $200 per hour (or higher, in some instances) can add up very quickly, even if a case settles without trial. Even though many family law attorneys asks for a small retainer upfront, the final bill could be 5 to 20 times higher, even without going to trial. As you can guess, that leaves a bitter taste in most clients mouths. Here is my promise to you: I offer flat-fee monthly billing on all of my family law and other litigation cases so that my clients know up front what they will have to pay each month even if we are dealing with a spiteful ex who drags us into court every week. Once you agree to be my client, then you will know how much I will charge you per month for the life of the case. No surprises.
